Do you know the link for your seller? I live in Seattle and maybe I can stop by and pick up the cables. I have been trying to connect several pieces and I am tired of waiting for shipping. Thanks

I totally agree, the composite cables that came with are CRAP! That's probably why I bought the Wii for $300 and not $350.

those are not fake you jerks.
the owner could not get the exact same screen shot with different cables. First you have to switch the cables, at this point, it will be at a different part in the game. anyone with eyes can tell the difference in clarity, even if the person "on the right" isn't there. How exactly do you expect him to get the exact same screen shot. The S is backwards in the other shot because the letters in the actual game SPIN AROUND!!! you guys who are saying it is fake, obviously don't have a wii (or maybe your 10). And why would this guy fake the pictures? Does he work for nintendo? No. Does he work for a component cable supplier? No. You are not being gulible by believing this man. It is the truth. Alot of times when playing Zelda, I could barely understand what the text was saying(with composites). I've seen comparisons on more web pages than this one. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!!! Just believe it for christ's sake. I might actually buy these cables, I guess I'm just saying I want the most out of my wii.

I think that it was a smart idea to do the comparisons, but what makes it so sad is that people sometimes apretiate the graphics more than the game itself. People need to stop complaning about graphics and start enjoying the game. That is why I am a fan of nintendo becuase they focus more on the gameplay than all of these pretty little visual effects. Visual effects are nice to look at but what if the game sucks then that just ruins all of the enjoyment of playing that videogame. All Nintendo wants to do is just create new ideas for a new console, I have a Wii and I appreciate it for the enjoyment I get out of it everyday.

I noticed right away how much better it looked. Once I made that change, I went back to the main screen and noticed that each of the empty boxes was like the white noise fuzzy television...something I didnt notice before.
Now lets bring on that internet browser nintendo!

very nice review. i was just doing some google research because I got mine today and didnt notice a difference. After reading your article I was wondering "how the hell is there that much of an improvement" because I wasnt seeing anything. Then I realized that I had it set at 480i and not 480p HD and HOLY CRAP! It looks soooo much better. I am very pleased with my 30 dollar investment. Definitely worth every penny.

I have been using the component cables for a couple weeks now. My TV is a Toshiba 27" widescreen CRT that upscans everything to 1080i. While the difference wasn't dramatic, I find myself constantly feeling like I can see more and that things are clearer. For this reason alone, I highly recomend the component cables to anyone who has any type of EDTV or better.
